K-State launches new economic development hub in the Edge
The Edge District is proud to welcome K-State 105, the K-State Research Foundation, and the newly established Office for Corporate Engagement to 1960 Kimball. These offices are key players in advancing K-State’s Economic Prosperity initiatives, fostering connections and partnerships with local, regional, and state organizations. Focused on driving the commercial deployment of K-State innovations through licensing, business startups, and large-scale business development, these teams are dedicated to supporting Kansas’ economic growth and innovation ecosystem.
Kansas Lt. Gov. David Toland and K-State President Richard Linton participated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony on January 10, emphasizing the facility’s role in driving economic growth in Kansas. The new center offers a central point for businesses to connect with K-State’s research capabilities and talent, contributing to the state’s innovation ecosystem.
